Painting on the edge at The Maze Overlook, Canyonlands National Park, early June, 2014.  High winds kept the juniper gnats away that morning but caused me to hunker down as low to the ground as I could get.  Spectacular view down into Horse Canyon. 
 
Later that day Jim, Jorge and Chris, my brother, climbed down into the Maze and hiked a few miles in search of a panel of petroglyphs called “Harvest Scene”.
